Guidelines

We recommend that you do not eat at least two hours before practice. If necessary, have something light such as a piece of fruit or yogurt. Drink plenty of water before & after class.

  • Prexisting injury or special health conditions should be announced to the instructor prior to class.
  • New students are encouraged to arrive fifteen minutes before class. We do not accept reservations.
  • Regular students are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before class. Entering class late is disruptive and disrespectful to your self and to others. In the event that you are late, take a breath, unravel your mat outside, and enter as slowly and quietly as you can. Consider being prompt integral to your practice.
  • If possible, bathe prior to your practice. Please do not wear perfume.
  • Leave your shoes and cell phones in the dressing rooms.
  • Bring your own mat, water bottle and towel for use in class. Hand towels are also helpful.
  • The benefits of your practice will become manifold when you are able to maintain exclusive focus on you and your experience. Train the eye on your self and the mind will follow.
  • Abandon the competitive mind-set. Yoga is absolutely non-competitive. Yoga is a lifelong practice that evolves daily, bringing us closer to self-realization.
